Bed or Desk?

While working from home during these Corona times, it can be hard to feel motivated. Funny that in Teochew, the same word ceng5 床 is used for “bed” and “table”. The place where you sleep is mêng5ceng5 眠床, while the place where you work is ceng5guin7 床櫃. But if you work from a laptop it may be possible to do everything from the same ceng5. Not saying that I have ever done so myself… Stay healthy and take care of yourselves and the people around you!
